Ronald Diskin brings over 40 years of insurance agency ownership and expertise to his clients in commercial real estate. A graduate of the University of Miami with a B.A. in Economics, Ron started in insurance in 1968 as co-owner of the Diskin & Diskin Agency, a commercial lines agency he owned with his brother that specialized in commercial real estate. Together, they built the agency from a start-up operation to one with a staff of 10.
In 1997, Ron started his own agency, Ronald Diskin Associates Corp. (RDA) to focus specifically on commercial insurance and risk management. As a successful business owner, Ron has hands-on experience in sales, marketing and management. His extensive insurance knowledge enables him to spot trends and take pro-active measures to ensure that his clients are well advised and has established many long-term client and business relationships as a result.
Ron has been married for over 40 years to Beth and has two children, Robyn and Jonathan. He enjoys golf, hiking, watching movies and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Jonathan cut his teeth in the industry back when he was in high school where he spent his afternoons helping his father and uncle in the family business by following up on certificates and claims. Today, with over 20 years of industry experience, Jonathan is still working in insurance where he focuses on fire and liability insurance for investment property owners.
Jonathan is married and has a son, Matthew. He enjoys playing golf and meeting new people.

Branch Operations Manager / COO RDA
Anthony (Tony) Dooreman has been in the insurance industry for over 25 years. Tony has extensive experience in commercial insurance and risk management and has also served as a financial analyst for a major insurance rating bureau. Tony joined RDA in 2002, helping build the agency to achieve over 200% growth. He manages the day-to-day activities of the corporation with an emphasis on strategic, tactical, and short-term operational management and improvement.
Tony started in insurance in 1993 and won the companywide Rookie of The Year award while working for the NIA Group. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Nyack College with concentrations in Marketing and Communications.
Tony is married and has two kids. He enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on his kids who are active in sports. He also likes to travel, play poker and host BBQ’s.

Stefanie started her insurance career as an Underwriting Assistant and enjoyed the field so much that she obtained her license within the first year. With 13 years of personal and commercial property and casualty experience, Stefanie joined the RDA team in 2012 and is responsible for keeping up with the ever-changing guidelines and markets and for negotiating with companies on behalf of our clients to provide the best possible coverage, premiums and customer service. She was also instrumental in providing excellent customer and staff support during a time of tremendous growth in the company.
Stephanie attended Dover Business College, Sussex County Community College and Wilkes University where she holds a degree in business with a minor in accounting. She has also attended H&R Block School for Tax Preparation and ARC School of Insurance. Stephanie has two teenage daughters and enjoys going to their sporting events and attending professional sporting events in soccer, ice hockey and softball. She also loves to cook and enjoys a good book.

An insurance industry veteran with over 30 years experience at firms such as Hamilton Group, Hanover Insurance and Penn National Insurance, Howard joined RDA in 2005. He handles renewals and policy changes for existing clients. Howard also ensures client claims are properly reported to their respective carriers and that each claim is assigned to a Claims Adjuster. Howard is a graduate of Rider University and enjoys playing golf, sightseeing and going to the movies.

Al started his insurance career over 30 years ago. He has vast experience including working as an insurance agent, insurance broker, underwriter and as an insurance risk manager. Al cut his teeth in the industry by working for firms like Walter Kaye Insurance Associates, AON Risk Services, Marsh & McLennan Companies and Weichert Insurance Agency.
Al’s hobbies include coaching Little League Baseball and when he gets a chance, he likes to spend time at Barnes & Noble reading computer magazines.
Anita started her insurance career in 1998 working for Liberty Mutual, where she quoted and serviced accounts based on her underwriting authority. Her vast experience includes working on a variety of risks from contractors, large construction projects, public transportation risks and commercial real estate.
Anita has worked on the agency, brokerage and carrier side of the business which has enabled her to build relationships to better serve her clients' insurance needs. She enjoys helping her clients with their insurance needs and getting to know them on a personal level.
Anita has a Bachelors Degree from Montclair State University. In her free time, she enjoys travelling with her family, gardening and cooking.

Loss Control Specialist
Alicia joined RDA in early June 2014. A strong internal collaborator, she leads the Loss Control department and serves as the head Receptionist. She also assists in the Claims department.
Alicia loves to work out and fitness is a huge part of Alicia’s life. Prior to joining RDA, she managed gyms and hotels where she honed her customer service skills. When she’s not working out, she likes to relax at the beach. She has a curious mind and enjoys reading and learning about new things.

Jill joined RDA in January 2015 and assists with new business sales. Though new to insurance, she has over ten years of sales and marketing experience. She is a graduate of New York University with a degree in Psychology. Jill loves to travel and spend time with her family.

Judy joined RDA in 2012, after working for 25 years as a speech pathologist in a NJ public school district. She received her bachelor’s degree in speech pathology from Douglass College and did her graduate work at Kean University. In our office she works in the accounting department, providing customer assistance with cancellation notices and questions regarding payments. In her spare time Judy enjoys reading, going to the movies, having dinner with friends, vacationing at the beach, and spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
